AMPO now has a new claim in New Mexico just up out of Red River. This claim looks very exciting. The area is also full of lots of things to do. Red River also has a whole host of camp grounds with easy access to the historic town some by shuttle bus. Many of the surrounding hills have mines and old cabins to explore.
